Continuing Education Credit Information

These courses are co-sponsored for continuing education credit by The Institute for Continuing Education. The total course offers 22.50 contact hours. Credit is awarded on a session-by-session basis, with full attendance required for the sessions attended. To receive continuing education credit, course participants must complete an Application Form, comply with sign-in / sign-out requirements and complete an evaluation form for each session. When you register, please indicate whether or not you wish to apply for continuing education credit. The fee is $40.00, and will be added to your charge, as noted on the registration page. Your application for continuing education credit will be forwarded to The Institute for Continuing Education and you will receive information from them including a continuing education packet with complete instructions and materials. Registration fees for CEUs will be payed to ISSTD.

Continuing Education Credit Offered:

Psychology: The Institute for Continuing Education is an organization approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to offer continuing education for psychologists. The Institute for Continuing Education maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

Counseling: The Institute for Continuing Education is an NBCC approved continuing education provider and a co-sponsor of this program. The Institute for Continuing Education may award NBCC approved clock/contact hours for programs that meet NBCC requirements. The Institute for Continuing Education maintains responsibility for this program and its content. NBCC Provider No. 5643.

Social Work: The Institute for Continuing Education is approved as a provider for social work by the Association of Social Work Boards ( ASWB ) through its continuing education program. The Institute maintains responsibility for the program. ASWB Provider No. 1007.

Marriage/Family Therapy: The institute for Continuing Education is an approved provider of continuing education activities by most state boards of Marriage/Family Therapy. Call for your specific location.

Drug/Alcohol: The Institute for Continuing Education is approved by the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors ( NAADAC ) to provide continuing education for alcohol and drug abuse counselors. NAADAC Provider No. 000243.
