England Society for the Treatment of Trauma and
Dissociation
The
NESTTD is an affiliate society of the International
Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation (ISSTD).
It was founded in 1984 and has been incorporated
as a non-profit organization. The society meets the
needs of professional members from the Connecticut,
Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island,
and Vermont region with headquarters in Malden,
Massachusetts. The society's quarterly meetings
provide members with a range of professional presentations,
discussion groups, and consultation clinics as
well as opportunities to network with colleagues.
Continuing education credits are available at most
NESTTD functions. The society also sponsors intensive
educational workshops on the treatment of dissociative
disorders and related issues. This website for
the NESTTD includes newsletter articles and a bulletin
board for regional services and announcements.

Study Group of Southeast Michigan (SEM ISSTD).
It provides information on trauma and dissociation,

area for persons of different professional backgrounds.

The
PILOTS database, of the National Center for PTSD
is an electronic index to the worldwide literature
on PTSD and other mental-health sequelae of exposure
to traumatic events. An excellent resource for
research.

site, from Ken Pope, PhD includes the full-text
of the award address "Memory, Abuse, and Science:

Epidemic," and the follow-up article "Science As

Syndrome Epidemic Based on Empirical Evidence?" in
which commentaries on the original article are
