Rescue - 2003
Oil on canvas
30" x 42"
Sometimes people ask if the male figure in this painting is helping or harming.  He is helping, and that is why the piece is entitled
"Rescue."  The question may arise because there is fear expressed in the female form.  Learning to trust is not easy, but worth its
unquantifiable rewards.

Red Helps Green - 2006
Oil on canvas
45" x 44"
The muted color fields represent sectioning inside my alter system, and the figures, the relationship between alters just beginning to
heal and integrate. Red and green are complimentary colors. When side
by side, they enhance each other's brilliance. When blended, they create a lovely neutral brown.

Detail of Tailbone - 2006
Oil on canvas
72" x 27"

This image was produced by numerous layers of individual marks, in both vibrant and neutral colors.  The process is not unlike how I, as
the subject, was affected over the course of my experiences.
Vortex - 2003
Oil on canvas
48" x 12"

This painting has almost sold several times over.  Usually the reason offered for declining is the disturbing nature of the female form.  I
always respond that the very existence of the piece is evidence of my ability to triumph over the damage and specific manipulation it expresses.
